Peppermint (Mentha × piperita) is a natural hybrid between water mint (Mentha aquatica) and spearmint (Mentha spicata). The plant has been valued for centuries for its fresh, aromatic scent and cooling taste.

The leaves contain essential oils with menthol, which give it its characteristic minty scent and refreshing mouthfeel. Peppermint is one of the most popular herbs for tea: pure, clear and timeless.
