Description
Raspberry leaf (Rubus idaeus) is the dried leaf of the raspberry plant, a member of the rose family that grows widely in Europe and Asia. The fresh green leaves are harvested during the flowering season, when they develop their characteristic mild fragrance and herbal flavour.
In herbal tea, raspberry leaf is known for its soft, slightly grassy tone and subtle earthy aroma. It combines well with herbs such as lemon balm, mint and camomile, but also comes into its own as a mild, leafy infusion.
