Description
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is one of the most famous herbal teas in the world and has been appreciated for centuries for its mild, floral aroma. The golden yellow blossoms give a soft, honey-like taste with a subtle spiciness.
The plant belongs to the composite family (Asteraceae) and is native to Southern and Eastern Europe, but now grows throughout Europe and Asia. Chamomile is often drunk on its own, but it also combines well with other herbs such as mint, lemon balm or lavender.
Our chamomile is organically grown, with the blossoms carefully harvested and dried to preserve their natural fragrance and colour. A cup of chamomile tea is a classic — soft, aromatic and timeless.
