Green matcha – Japan – Basic – organic green tea

Green Matcha Basis from Japan is ideal for use in sweet drinks, dishes and baked goods. Its very robust, strong character combines well with other powerful flavours and sweetness.

But this matcha is also ideal for cosmetic applications in masks, scrubs and other care products. Green matcha has great potential in cosmetics, mainly because of its high concentration of antioxidants, primarily catechins, of which EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is the best known. These antioxidants are effective in combating free radicals, which can cause skin ageing.
