If you are ordering for the first, second or third time, or if you live in a country outside the Netherlands or if the order or invoice needs to be sent to a country outside the Netherlands, you must pay in advance using one of our online payment methods, such as iDEAL, Bancontact, SOFORT Banking or PayPal, or a manual bank transfer.
If you live in the Netherlands, you can also pay on account from your fourth order onwards, provided that the order and the invoice are to be sent to one or more addresses within the Netherlands. The invoice must then be paid within 30 days by depositing/transferring the amount due to our bank account.
Costs payment method
There may be costs associated with your chosen payment method. These are clearly stated at checkout so that you can make an informed choice.
We do not charge any fees for payments via iDEAL or Bancontact.
We charge a surcharge of 0.9% for Belfius, KBC and SOFORT Banking.
For Giropay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, Mastercard and Visa, we charge a surcharge of 1.5%.
For PayPal, we charge a surcharge of 3.9%.
These surcharges cover a (large) part of the costs charged to us by the relevant payment providers.
When paying on account, we charge a 5% surcharge to cover the costs of accounts receivable administration (reminders, warnings, collection procedures) and uncollectible debts.
When paying by manual bank transfer, we charge a fixed amount of €2.50 per order, because we check our bank account for deposits every morning for up to 7 days.
We believe it is better for our customers to make the costs transparent and pass them on to those who use them, rather than hiding them in the price of the items for everyone.
One of the outer boxes in which your order is delivered contains an invoice, which also serves as an address label and packing list. If you have ordered via the webshop, you will also receive a digital invoice on the day of dispatch.
Discounts
De Theefabriek does not apply any special extra margins or discounts for wholesalers. However, volume discounts are provided:
- order > €500 » 2%
- order > €1,000 » 4%
- order > €2,000 » 6%
- order > €4,000 » 8%
- order > €8,000 » 10%
- Bulk delivery of consumer packaging (without display boxes, e.g. for end-of-year packages) from 20 packages of one product » extra 2.5%
