Description
Rose blossom has been appreciated for centuries in many cultures — from Central Asia to the Mediterranean — both for its fragrance and its symbolism. The rose (genus name Rosa) is one of the oldest cultivated ornamental plants and traditionally represents love, beauty and purity. The dried flower buds retain their elegant colour and characteristic soft floral aroma, making them a popular ingredient in tea blends.
The whole flower buds give tea a luxurious and natural appearance. The flower opens slightly during infusion and spreads a subtle rose scent without overpowering the taste. Rose blossom is mainly used as a decorative and aromatic addition, but can also be combined with herbs such as hibiscus, jasmine, elderflower or mint.
