Description
Linden blossom (Tilia tomentosa), derived from the silver linden tree, has been used for centuries to make a mild, golden-coloured herbal tea with a refined scent of honey and summer blossoms.
The silver linden grows in Central and South-Eastern Europe and is recognisable by the silvery underside of its leaves. During the short flowering period in June and July, the blossoms are carefully harvested and slowly dried to preserve their natural aroma.
Linden blossom tea has a light and mild flavour, delicious on its own or combined with chamomile, lemon balm or mint.
