Block bottom bags with grip closure – 3L

Kraft-coloured block bottom bags, in a three-layer material (Kraft paper / BOPA / PE) with excellent barrier properties for storing tea, herbs, spices, etc. Packaged per 100, 200 and 500 pieces.

With a handy grip closure for easy (re)closing. Can also be sealed with a "serious" sealing device. Seal approximately 1 cm below the top of the bag so that the customer can easily remove the seal with the tear aid (notch) and is left with a perfectly resealable storage bag.

Dimensions: 180 mm wide, 300 mm high, maximum depth when fully unfolded 90 mm.

This makes these bags very suitable for packaging, for example, 500 g of medium-sized tea. Most of the loose teas we sell have a volume of 3.5-4.5 litres per kg. Many leaf and flower herbs (such as nettle, peppermint, chamomile) and white teas have a volume that is often more than twice as large. This means that less of these teas will fit in these bags, approximately 250g.

Finally, a note for customers who are used to stand-up pouches/doypacks: due to the combination of the side fold and the grip closure, these block bottom bags have a slightly narrower filling opening than a doypack with a similar content, but they have the great advantage that they 'stand' much better and can be packed more efficiently in boxes (like 'bricks').
