Natural sweetener, calories zero, glycemic index zero, pure nature! Has a slight licorice ash flavor.

Tips for use:

• Add to taste to tea, herbs, spices, etc. before brewing. Pouring boiling water… how sweet it is!
• Powder with a mortar or in a clean blender / food processor / coffee grinder. Apply to taste in place of sugar or artificial sweeteners. One teaspoon of stevia powder gives about the same sweetness as 8-16 teaspoons of sugar.
• Make a syrup by adding 4 parts warm water to one part stevia. Steep in an airtight container for 24 hours and then strain out the leaves. Can still be boiled down to get a more concentrated syrup. Store refrigerated.
