Juniper berries crushed (s/org)
Juniper berries have a special, spicy flavor, with an unmistakable undertone of pine woods. The juniper is not actually a berry. It is the dried, ripe catkin that grows from the flower of the juniper bush. It takes three years for this catkin to mature and color.
We have the crushed variety in our range because this form releases its essential oils 1,000 times better to boiling water or whatever the berry is used in.
