The Tea Factory | Tea Wholesale is part of The Tea Factory, a unique combination of Holland’s only tea museum, a tea shop with perhaps the most extensive tea menu in the world, a fragrant tea store, a tea school and a tea wholesale business.

The Tea Factory is located in picturesque Houwerzijl, northwestern Groningen, on the edge of National Park Lauwersmeer.

We have been conveying our love of tea to our visitors, guests and customers since 1990. We take our visitors on a surprising journey of discovery through the fascinating world of tea, serve our guests delicious teas and accompanying refreshments, and offer our customers a variety of teas, herbs, spices and blends, from classic to innovative and from very common to very exclusive, in our tea store and tea wholesale business.

The tea wholesale business was actually started to add some substance to the tourist-recreational quieter winter months at The Tea Factory. This is because in the summer we are flooded with countless tourists, day-trippers and tea lovers, but in the winter it is a lot quieter. And it succeeded: Meanwhile, our trade leg has grown beyond the tourism-recreation leg. The wholesale tea business is now located in an adjacent building, a former furniture store and factory.
