Juniper berries whole (s/org)
Juniper berries have a special, spicy flavor, with an unmistakable undertone of pine woods. The juniper is not actually a berry. It is the dried, ripe catkin that grows from the flower of the juniper bush. It takes three years for this catkin to mature and color.
This is the whole variety, particularly decorative, but with less release of fragrance and flavor than the crushed variety, which we also carry in our assortment.
